Introduction.
Conspiracy theories, one of the most controversial forms of information ever, we chose to do our inquiry on conspiracy theories because we are passionate about this, we want to spread awareness of this topic as many misconceptions are surrounding this word d and topic. In this report, we want to go over a few things, such as what are conspiracy theories, what are examples of conspiracy theories, why are people drawn to conspiracy theories, can Conspiracy theories hurt people, what is the biggest problem with Conspiracy theories, and can Conspiracy theories help people?
What are conspiracy theories?
I know that this question might sound silly, but we think that not many people know what conspiracy theories are. You would have heard conspiracy theories, but never known what they are. Conspiracy theories are pretty much an attempt to explain something sad, bad or even tragic events as the result of the actions of a small powerful group. Explanations like this reject the accepted narrative surrounding those events; indeed, the official version may be seen as further proof of the conspiracy. Conspiracy theories usually increase in times of prevalence e.g, covid 19, Trump and Biden, the Australian bushfire and more.
What are some examples of conspiracy theories?
`
So now you know some information on what the premise of conspiracies is, we will go into so examples at the very bottom. You have conspiracies everybody has heard of, like bigfoot, the loch ness monster and the yeti, but those are baseline examples of conspiracy theories, but they are a lot more than that they are things that can not be explained in the world throughout these last few weeks. I have been drawn into the world of it all in my research. I have found such theories as there is inner earth called Agatha that is so perfect people can live for 300 years. There are other much darker theories of evil societies secretly ruling the world while we have no idea what's going on like the aluminate a secret society that's emblem is the eye of providence or the all-seeing eye of god but a conspiracy, in short, a conspiracy theory in something somebody or some group of people believing in.
Why are people drawn to conspiracy theories?
There are lots of different reasons why people are drawn to conspiracy theories, but I will not be talking about all of them in this report. Researchers think that there are quite a few reasons why people believe in conspiracy theories. Lots of the explanations all come down to three main reasons. During times of crisis, people have a want to understand what is going on, so lots of them turn to conspiracy theories, they want a need for control, a need to belong or even feel special. Maybe if we lived in a perfect world with no wars, no plane crashes or anything like that, there would be no such thing as conspiracy theories. You may be thinking about why the answer to your guy's question is. Conspiracy theories mainly only surface after times of crisis or during times of crisis. It may not feel like to you that these are the reasons why you and your peers are drawn to conspiracy theories, but it is more than likely the reason.
Can conspiracy theories hurt people?
Can conspiracy theories hurt people? This question is a very interesting one. You have your sides, one says that they are evil and will kill us all, and others just think you're crazy, well I'm here to give you some information. When you think of dangerous conspiracies, you might think of lizard people or aliens invading, but what comes to my mind are the darkest of them all. The Protocols of the Elders of Zion or translated to English, the Jewish peril published in 1908, buy a Russian author, the book can be summarised as a book of hating Jews. This book has led to some of the most devastating attacks in human history. It is said that the 911 bombers read this book and it motivated them in their kamikaze attack in 2001. This book has led to other mass shootings and murders. Another prevalent thing that comes across in conspiracies are the Jewish lots of people hate them and say that they are the root of all evil.
What is the biggest problem with conspiracy theories?
Now that we know what conspiracy theories are and why people are drawn to them, we should probably find out what the biggest problem with conspiracy theories are. There are lots of problems surrounding conspiracy theories. They range from people losing their family jobs to their lives plus. As odd as it may sound, the biggest problem with conspiracy theories is not that they are scary, not that tear families apart, but that they are too confronting. The problem with it is that there will be people doing this to have a laugh and a joke, instead of helping with conspiracy theories, it is a very hard thing to prove. Sometimes there are dangerous like cults form regarding them, and they get people to kill themselves over it, it can be dark and twisted

Conclusion.
Much to everybody's sadness this report has concluded. I hope that you now know a little bit more about conspiracy theories and that they aren't all fun and games. This report has only glanced at the surface of conspiracy theories it would take years on end to even scratch the surface of them. We would have loved to of got to the bottom of conspiracy theories but we only had three weeks to do so. I hope you enjoyed this inquiry.
