Ellie Blake

Hope Hudson

Hope is a Junior at the University of Southern Mississippi where they study Psychology. They made their VTG debut in 2018 as Smee in the Fairy Tale Theatre production of Peter Pan and Wendy. They have also played in many mainstage productions including Mamma Mia!, Chicago, Anne of Green Gables, and Footloose. When they are not on stage, they enjoy playing ukulele and electric guitar, as well as attending as many concerts as possible.

Shanna Dixon

Shanna moved to Vicksburg in the summer of 2017 with her now 13 year old son, Ace. They have a dog named Fiona. She is the Secretary for Vicksburg Church of Christ, a swim lessons instructor, and a Coach for Sunkist Swim Team in Flowood. She began her time at VTG in 2018 as a Can-Can Cutie in Gold in the Hills. Since then she has also portrayed Mother Alexandros in Mamma Mia, June aka 'SQUISH" in Chicago, Gertrude in The Importance of Being Earnest, Mamie in Gold in the Hills, Sister Mary Leo in Nunsense, Coach Dunbar in Footloose, and the noble Banquo in Macbeth. Shanna serves as the Director of Membership on the Board of Directors for Vicksburg Theater Guild, and is the Can-Can Coordinator for Gold in the Hills. Her favorite thing about theatre is that it's an experience she shares with Ace.

Fletcher Blake

Aaron Constancio

Aaron is a 4th grader at Warren Central Intermediate. He enjoys playing video games and watching Netflix. He has been in many productions of Gold in the Hills and has been in the last three years of Fairytale Theater. This is Aaron’s first major role.

Clarence Shelby

Clarence is well-experienced with productions at the VTG. He made his debut in the 2016 production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and has held many roles since. Some of these include Happy and Big Mike in Gold in the Hills, Sam Carmichael in Mamma Mia!, Fred Casely in Chicago, and Ren McCormack in Footloose.

Steven Lloyd

Steven has been performing in the theater for several years in a variety of roles, acting and singing with his family and many of the other fine folks involved in this production. He is a Renal Social Worker by trade serving the dialysis community in Vicksburg and the surrounding area.

Grandma Helene

Mary Claire Allison

A Vicksburg native, Mary Claire is a computer scientist with the Engineer Research and Development Center in the Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Flute Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi and Master’s Degree in Math and Computer Science from Mississippi College. She has been involved with the Vicksburg Theater Guild since 1988, both onstage and playing in numerous pit orchestras. Recent roles include Vi Moore in “Footloose”, Frau Blucher in “Young Frankenstein”, the chef in “Clue”, and Hecate in “MacBeth”. Mary Claire is also actively involved in the Vicksburg Chamber Choir and the Vicksburg Orchestral Society.

Marissa attends the Academy of Innovation and participates in multiple school activities. She has been acting at VTG for a year, performing in Beauty and The Beast, Gold In The Hills, Young Frankenstein, and now as Gretchen in Freaky Friday! She wants to thank her family for their support.

Anna Salisbury

Anna is brand new to the Vicksburg area, having moved here earlier this year. She is a Youth Leader at Crossway. This production marks her theatre debut.

Adam

Hunter Weeks

Hunter, 29, moved here from Arkansas a year ago where he worked as a librarian. He now works at Lorelei Books as well as The Open Market. In highschool, he learned the ropes of theatre in numerous productions including The Outsiders where he played Two Bit, as well as many fun one acts.

In Batesville, AR, he acted in several community theatre productions including You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (as Charlie Brown) and 12 Incompetent Jurors (Brooklyn Guy). In Vicksburg he joined the casts of Young Frankenstein, 1940's Radio Hour, and Clue. His most recent role was the titular Macbeth in the Scottish Play.

In his free time he hangs out with his girlfriend, Jillian, watches an awful lot of television, and thinks great thoughts which he may or may not write down.

Ace Dixon

Ace is an 8th grader at Vicksburg Junior High School. He swims for school and year round with Sunkist Swim Team. His time at VTG began in 2018 as Pete the Rat in Gold in the Hills. Since then he's also played Slick Steve in Gold in the Hills, was part of the chorus in Mamma Mia, Young Siward in Macbeth, Hans in Frozen Jr, and ran the spot light for Chicago and Nunsense.

My name is Luke Bond and I am a freshman at Warren Central high school.I like to stay active participating in sports and activities including: soccer, tennis, Big Wheelie skate show and youth group activities at my church. This is my first time participating in a production with the Vicksburg theatre and I am thankful for the opportunity as well as the friendships I have made through this process.

Arwen Durst

Arwen is a homeschooled sixth grader. Freaky Friday is her debut with a regular season VTG production. Previously, she’s been involved with Beauty and the Beast and Frozen Jr. Along with her rising interest in theater, Arwen loves meteorology. She often lets her family know she has a 100% chance of telling them the weather. Like her sister, Arwen is also an animal lover, especially of cats. So much so, she has even trained her cat, Drusilla, to sit, stay, and even do tricks. Arwen has had a wonderful time meeting and making new friends with her cast mates. She looks forward to making more memories through more productions with VTG!

Preston Lanier

Preston Lanier is 28 years old and has lived in Vicksburg, Mississippi for the last three years. Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Preston moved to Vicksburg to be the Student Ministries Pastor at Elevate Church in 2019. While his parents met in a traveling drama ministry, and his mother was a theatre major in college, he did not try his hand at acting until VTG’s 2020 production of “The Importance of Being Earnest”. After debuting as Jack Worthing in Earnest, he went on to portray John Dalton in “Gold in the Hills”, and the stage manager in “Two on the Aisle, Three in a Van”. Last year, he added Fredrick “Fronkensteen” of “Young Frankenstein” to his acting resume.

River Durst

River is a homeschooled sophomore student. She has been part of a number of plays at VTG, including shows with Fairy Tale Theater, Beauty and the Beast, Anne of Green Gables, and Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. Along with performing, she is a passionate creative writer. Outside of school and theater, River has a deep love for all animals, especially amphibians and reptiles. She is also great with horses and has been taking riding lessons for a number of years at Rainbow Farms. You can find the whole Durst family there often, caring for and spending time with their horse, Royal.

Synthia Goodson

Synthia Goodson is a medically retired Veteran, Freaky Friday marks her welcome home as her first production since coming back to Vicksburg MS. Other shows she has been in include Chicago, Hairspray, Newsies, Legally Blonde, Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Mamma Mia. She would like to give a big thank you to her friends and Family who have supported her though all of her endeavors and plans to continue doing theater in the future.

Mollie Lafferty

Mollie is 12 years old and a 7th grader at the Academy of Innovation (AOI). Born in Delaware, and raised in Mississippi, Mollie began her theater career playing Mrs. Mayor in Seussical the Musical back in 2018. In that first production, she quickly discovered her love for the stage and theater. Since then, Mollie has performed in Dorothy in Wonderland (2019, Texas), VTG’s Gold in the Hills (2020, 2021, 2022 - Barbara and Edith), Beauty & the Beast Jr (2021, Lefou), Young Frankenstein (2021, Hearld), Clue (2022, Student Director/Lights), Macbeth (2022, Malcolm), and Frozen Jr (Bulba, Young Anna). This year, Mollie will also be a part of AOI’s Southern Synergy Choir and is a member of the Warren Central Little Blue Band where she plays percussion. She is always looking forward to what production to be in next! She loves her VTG family!

Shelby Goss

Shelby is 18 years old and a recent high school graduate. She studies Precision Manufacturing at Hinds Community College. She has been participating in productions at Vicksburg Theatre Guild since she was 5 years old. Some of her past performances include "Robin" in 2 on the Aisle, Three in the Van. "Nellie" in Gold in the Hills. She also performed in Sound of Music, Mamma Mia, The Addams Family Musical, Legally Blonde, The Music Man, Oliver, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and many more. She also ste3ps to set up and manage the fly, sound, and lights when needed. In her off time, she participates in the FTC Robotics League on team 10191 Trial and Error.

Nickolas Carrick is 14, and currently attends Warren Central Jr. High. Nick has appeared in Gold in the Hills for the past four years as Pete the Rat and Slick Steve. He also appeared in WCHS's production of Newsies.

Amy LaGrone Crews

Amy grew up performing in various theatre productions but took a break from the stage to focus on her studies at The University of Southern Mississippi. Amy has been performing with VTG since August 2017. Some of her favorite roles include “Elle Woods” in Legally Blonde The Musical, “Brooke Ashton” in Noises Off, "Sister Robert Anne" in Nunsense, and “Macduff” in Macbeth. She also served as assistant director of Chicago and Nunsense.

Amy graduated with a M.Ed. in Dyslexia Therapy from Mississippi College in May 2022 and works as a dyslexia therapist at Micah’s Mission School, Inc. She and her wonderful husband, Craig, reside in Vicksburg with their adorable aussidor dog, Chief. Amy is watched over by her guardian angel dog and brave canine epilepsy warrior, Cooper.

Kelli Mansure

Kelli Mansure, a Northeast transfer to Vicksburg, has enjoyed participating in choirs, a capella groups, and/or dive bar karaoke for over 20 years. This is her first time playing a role in a community theater piece, and she feels lucky to be a part of such a heart-warming, dynamic show.

Andrew has been doing shows with VTG for 8 years now. He has portrayed many characters such as Uncle Fester in The Addams Family, Claude Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Harry in Mamma Mia, Willard in Footloose, Wadsworth in Clue, Jack in Into the Woods, as well as John Dalton, Richard Murgatroyd, and Slade in Gold in the Hills. Andrew, along with his wife, Celeste Constancio-Cochran, and their son, Aaron Constancio, are very excited to welcome a new member into their family soon.

Sarah works as an accountant in the real world. Here at Vicksburg Theatre Guild, she has performed in many productions such as Anne of Green Gables, Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge, Noises Off, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Arsenic and Old Lace, Sound of Music, Music Man, Ponder Heart, Oliver, Gold in the Hills, and many more. She has also directed The Addams Family Musical, Legally Blonde, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mamma Mia, Chicago, The Importance of Being Earnest, 2 on the Aisle, 3 in the Van, and Young Frankenstein. She can also run sound, lights, the fly, and build a mean set. She is currently serving as the President of the Board of Directors for the Vicksburg Theater Guild.

This is Larry’s third production with the Vicksburg Theater Guild, and first musical (on stage). He is from Wiggins, MS and has taught music/choir in the Vicksburg Warren School District since August of 2019. He has played in the orchestra for Sound of Music and 1940's Radio Hour, but will make his musical debut as an actor in Freaky Friday.

Celeste is a recent cosmetology school graduate and has been in may different shows with VTG throughout the years as well as quite a few at the Strand Theater downtown. She is very excited to be in a show with her son Aaron and husband Andrew. They are expecting a new baby at the beginning of October.

Gena Goodson

Gena is a disabled veteran. She has been involved in musical theater since age 12. With the Vicksburg theater Guild, Gena has performed in Gold in the Hills, Oliver!, Amahl and the Night Visitors, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, “Mamma Mia!”, as Mamma Morton’ in Chicago, and as ‘Michelle Mahoney’ in The 25th-Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Gena was also the stage manager for “Legally Blonde.”

Erica Durst

Erica is a native of Starkville, MS, where she studied music and anthropology at Mississippi State University. Music has always been a part of her life, whether as a vocalist, flutist, or budding guitarist. Since moving to Vicksburg in 2009, she has homeschooled her two daughters and taken them on many adventures across the Southeast. In her free time she is also an avid screamer at SEC football games, making it fortunate that football season starts after the show. She is happy to be making her debut at VTG in this production of Freaky Friday, and looks forward to more shows to come.

Clarissa is the choir director at Vicksburg Junior High School. This production of Freaky Friday marks her debut as a director. She also serves on the VTG Board of Directors as the Costume Director. She made her Parkside Playhouse debut as Rose Robinson in the 2012 production of Gold in the Hills and has since performed in many productions. Some of her favorite roles include Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Elizabeth Bennett in Young Frankenstein, Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest, Donna Sheridan in Mamma Mia!, and Paulette Buonofonte in Legally Blonde. William is an engineer at the Concrete and Materials Branch of ERDC. He has helped with many VTG productions, both on and off stage. He most recently made an appearance as Duncan in our production of Shakespeare's Macbeth.

Hayley is 13 and an 8th grader at Warren Central Junior High. She participates in band, winter guard and choir. At VTG, she was a chorus member last summer in the Fairy Tale Theatre Production of Beauty and the Beast Jr. She was also a crew member this year for Frozen Jr. This is her first time as crew member for a main stage production.
