High school senior design project
Sponsored by Prismier
Mentored by NNHS physics teacher and robotics coach Mark Rowzee
Designed and fabricated aluminum sheet metal robot chassis.
Researched sheet metal design practices in FIRST robotics
Downloaded, reviewed, and revised successful FRC teams' past robots with open-sourced CAD.
Attended IMTS to learn more about manufacturing and acquired corporate sponsorship from Prismier
Researched the methods of sheet metal cutting using a waterjet, stamping, CO2 laser
Researched the methods of sheet metal bending using hand powered brake presses and hydraulic presses
Designed my own robot chassis using Autodesk Inventor's sheet metal software
Collaborated with Prismier to convert parts to workable files and fabricate pieces
Rivetted/Assembled final recieved parts together
