We are a 7th year veteran team that consists of about a dozen students. With many dedicated mentors and parents. Our rookie year was 2019 and we won 3 amazing awards.
Mission: Our mission as the Montrose Robotics team is to provide students in the Montrose Community School system an opportunity to develop real world expertise in a fun, competitive atmosphere. We cultivate teamwork, creativity, and problem solving skills, while teaching basic engineering concepts. Our goals rest on one very important principle: the belief that every student is capable of becoming an outstanding member of the community.
Awards:
Rookie Inspiration Award- Celebrates a rookie team’s outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering and engineers, both within their school, as well as in their community.
Rookie All-Star Award-Celebrates the rookie team exemplifying a young but strong partnership effort, as well as implementing the mission of FIRST to inspire students to learn more about science and technology.
