FRAUC is short handed this year and desperately needs volunteers to help lead several events this semester. If we don’t find volunteers, we may not be able to run the full-slate of spring activities.

Staff Appreciation Lunch
One day on the week of May 4-8, 11am - 2pm (we can work with your availability)
Working with another volunteer, responsibilities include:
Setting up the Staff Lounge tables for lunch + hanging family-made thank you posters
Setting out catered food for buffet style lunch
Cleaning food containers and resetting Staff Lounge at the end of the meal
Possibly picking up catered food
Student Government Spring Festival, Lead Volunteer
Tentative date: Friday, May 8, 3:30-6pm
Responsibilities include:
Supervising small group of parent volunteers in helping student government setup activities
Possibly help sell tickets (maybe with Venmo app)
Help student government cleanup after event
Spring All-School Dance, Lead Volunteer
Tentative date: Friday, June 5, 4-8pm
Responsibilities include:
Supervising parent and student volunteers in decorating the cafeteria
Monitoring food station and activities with other volunteers during the dance
Checking in with family liaison, Julia Ho, on ticket sales (RAUC staff sell tickets)
One of the FRAUC leaders will walk you through the steps and help with volunteer coordination, etc.
Field Day, Co-Lead Volunteer
Date in June TBD, 11-3pm
Responsibilities include:
Help book activities, e.g. dunk tank, photo booth, italian ice cart
Inform vendors where to set up at the event
Supervise other volunteers in setting up activity tables, food stations, etc.
Supervise volunteers in cleaning up after event
8th Grade Picnic, Co-Lead Volunteer
Traditionally, this has been a 7th or 6th grade parent/caregiver.
Date in June TBD
Responsibilities include:
Picking up supplies and/or food & beverage items from grocery store or restaurant
Supervise fellow volunteers in setting up Bergin Park with picnic food and graduation decorations
Cleaning up after the event
Responsibilities include:
Outlining the year's activities and funding support
Coorinating volunteers for community and school events
Collaborating with RAUC staff to support student activities
Filing annual taxes and reports (we promise it's easier than it sounds!)
