This Fall, I'm teaching MAT203 (Advanced Vector Calculus).
If you're potentially interested in writing a junior paper with me, please don't hesitate to reach out. You may find it useful to look at my research page for a description of my mathematical interests first. Of these interests, the study of open book foliations is probably the most accessible. In particular, as a follow up to this paper I wrote with Román Aranda and Margaret Doig using open book foliations, Margaret Doig coauthored another paper with Chase Gehringer - an undergraduate collaborator - on the bridge-braid spectrum of a link, again using open book foliations. There are many other natural, approachable, questions in this direction.
