Sales Policy

Thank you for your interest in Franzi Farm Nigerians and Nubians. 

If you would like to purchase a kid from one of our breedings, please contact us to be added to our reservation list.

Please note:

-All goat kids will be disbudded prior to sale. 

-We reserve the right to keep any kid resulting from any of our breedings. 

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold a born kid or an adult. Deposit must be received within 48 hours of notification that your animal(s) is available for purchase. 

Reservations and deposits are taken on a first-come first-served basis, and no goats will be held without a deposit.

Sales agreement

By placing a deposit or purchasing an animal from Franzi Farm, you have indicated acceptance to the following agreement and terms:

• Any reserved kid must be paid in full by the time buyer is notified that the kid is ready for pickup. All kids are dam raised so pick-up will be planned after weaning, typically around 8-12 weeks, unless other arrangements are made to send the kid home as a bottle baby. If the kid is still not paid for within four weeks of notification that it is ready for pick up any previous payments will be forfeited and non-refunded.

• All goats will be sold with American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA) registration and possibly NDGA. Each doe and buck kid sold will be provided with the required paperwork for registering with the associated agencies. Buyer is responsible for any registration fees unless otherwise agreed upon with Franzi Farm.

• Shipping and transportation is at the buyers expense - all expenses, including shipping, travel crate, veterinary health check, health certificate, and any further testing (required by you or the state you live in) are the buyers financial responsibility.

• Once an animal is sold and leaves the farm, we cannot guarantee its future health, growth, production or quality. Our goats are healthy when they leave the farm. All adult goats at Franzi Farm have been tested and found negative for Johne’s, CAE and CL. 

• Franzi Farm reserves the right to refuse or cancel any reservation/sale at any time, and a full refund of any payments will be returned to buyer.

• Does can be bred to any of our bucks for an additional $75-125 (depending on the buck used) fee before leaving our farm. If the doe is not paid in full at the time of the breeding, the resulting kids will carry the Franzi Farm herd name.

• Doe fertility is not guaranteed, and refunds are not given, except in the case of veterinarian-documented hermaphroditism. Keep in mind that some does require extra time to become mature enough to breed, and may not settle until they are two years old. 

• All Sales are final. Once a goat has been paid in full, the sale is final except at the sole discretion of Franzi Farm. However, we will always do our best to help you find a good home should you be unable to keep your goats at any time during their lifetime. In the event the buyer chooses to sell a Franzi Farm goat in the future, we request first right of refusal. In the case of a future sale the buyer agrees to notify Franzi Farm in advance notice prior to advertising said animal for sale to allow Franzi Farm the option of first right of refusal. 

• When animal is picked up, we only accept payment in cash, unless alternative arrangement is made to use Venmo. Deposits for kids are accepted through Venmo.
