Rev. William D. Carter, III
About the Pastor
Reverend William D. Carter, III, was called and anointed by the Spirit of the Living God. Reverend Carter is an alumnus of The Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts of Philadelphia, Pa., where he majored in classical voice. In 2013, he graduated cum laude from Eastern University with a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership. Reverend Carter graduated with his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from the prestigious Princeton Theological Seminary. He has served as a small group facilitator for Courageous Conversations, described as, “a seminary-wide initiative creating safe, confidential, and sacred spaces for hearing one another’s stories. Through circles of open sharing, respectful listening, and committed presence, Courageous Conversations offers opportunities for deepening trust and caring among all who make up the Seminary’s diverse community.”
An anointed singer and gifted entertainer, Reverend Carter has appeared with the renowned male ensemble, Three2Five, and Peter Nero & the Philly Pops for their Christmas concert, which was held in Philadelphia’s world-class Kimmel Center. He has also been blessed to minister in song for the Hampton Ministers’ Conference, held annually at Hampton University in Virginia.
In addition, Reverend Carter was blessed to put on a full concert at the Princeton University Art Museum on the campus of Princeton University. He also frequently performs in events held at the Arts Council of Princeton. In 2005, Reverend Carter recorded his first CD entitled All to Him (available on this site and at CDBaby.com).
