For the first couple weeks, we will focus on fundamental networking concept and ideas. What is that? Here is a list of essentials (I think).

I believe the best way to learn networking is by "experiencing" it. That's the reason you need to download / practice wireshark as soon as possible. Many networking utility programs on PC/Mac/Unix are also great tools to help you understand the in-n-out of networking. Check out networking labs page.
