I am an empirically-minded linguist working primarily on topics in morphology (specifically, word-formation) and syntax within the frameworks of Construction Grammar (CxG) and Construction Morphology (CM). In my research, I advocate the use of reproducible data-collection methods and open-source tools (e.g. R, JASP, NoSketchEngine, IBEXFarm, PsychoPy, etc.). I am currently employed as an Assistant Professor at the Department of English Studies, University of Zadar.
My other non-linguistic interests include photography and hiking, which I try to merge into a single activity with varying degrees of success (see some example pictures below).
