I am a PhD applied math student at UNC-Chapel Hill. I got my MSc and BSc in Electrical Engineering at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. My research interests include the application of mathematics to efficiently tackle problems that arise in the physical processes of nature that show great complexity.
Main areas of study: Reduced Order Modelling, Fourier Analysis, Fluid Dynamics, Automatic Control, Multiresolution analysis.
Hobbies and other interests: electric guitar, Krav Maga, natural bodybuilding, hobby barista, healthy food enthusiast, trekking, road cycling, audiophile, and photography.
