My Franconnexion Session

Franconnexion sessions for the Grade 9 French Class at A.B. Lucas S.S.
To encourage and promote French language I hosted fun Franconnexion sessions at A.B. Lucas Secondary School with 24 participants.
I organized a franconnexion session involving a partners game of course aux mots, and gave out Halloween candy as prizes at the end.
I made my own presentation with custom words and pictures to better match the French level of the students appropriately.
The Franconnexion took place in two half-hour sessions (on Oct 23rd & Oct30th) and the students really enjoyed it.
The students got to choose their own group names and decide which point value word they wanted to go for each round
(with harder words being worth more points, see photos below).
Le but du jeu est de permettre aux élèves de découvrir de nouveaux mots et d'élargir leur vocabulaire en français en plus de travailler sur leur prononciation.
