Since April 2026, I hold a CNRS Junior Professor Chair at the University of Brest.
Between May 2024 and March 2026, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Vienna in Emmanuel Schertzer's team.
Between March 2020 and March 2024, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, in Clément Hongler's team.
Between 2016 and 2020, I was a PhD student under the supervision of Jean Bertoin at the University of Zurich.
I am a mathematician interested in stochastic models in mathematical biology, and in the theory of machine learning. My previous works concern stochastic growth-fragmentation processes, Moran process with evolution, neural networks training and landscapes, reinforcement learning and denoising diffusion models. Below is a list of keywords related to topics I am currently working on.
Biology-related: ecology-evolutionary models, epidemiology, evolutionary graph theory, multiomics.
Machine learning: denoising diffusion models, reinforcement learning.
