F. Brice Francis TOKPA is currently a research engineer in Network Telecommunications and assisting Dr Max Fréjus O. SANYA. He obtained his Msc Photonics degree from PHORAN Department of Ecole Polytechnique d’Abomey Calavi (EPAC) at University of Abomey-Calavi (UAC) in 2019. He also post graduate in Electrical Engineering at Institut Universitaire des Sciences et Techniques du Bénin AJAVON Sebastien (IUST-Benin) in 2016. He took part in the technological immersion program in China (Beijing, Shenzhen) of Huawei Technology Ltd… (Seeds of the future program) in May 2019
He joined the young team researcher of Max Fréjus O. SANYA in January 2020. He is actually participating in several projects (Implementation of ADO-OFDM, Power-adaptative SIPM-OOFDM, Multi-level SIPM-OOFDM in TWDM, WDM/TDM and TDM architectures PON ; etc…) as member of young team. Through his research work, he has developed skills in several areas, such as Next Generation mobile network, optical fiber deployment, signal processing and advanced modulation formats for optical and wireless communications systems, specifically digital architectures for high data rate PON fiber link, optical power efficient OFDM techniques for low-context, Cosimulation with Optisystem7 and Matlab, FTTx transmission links
He did several internships during his training (Cajaf-common, Société Béninoise des Brasseries du Bénin : SOBEBRA, Communauté Electrique du Bénin: CEB, Bénin Télécom Infrastructure: BTI) which allowed him to acquire a lot of practical knowledge. His areas of expertise are electrical engineering (low voltage and medium voltage through curative and preventive maintenance in industry or personal housing etc…); in IT (configuration of routers, network administration etc ...) and telecommunications
