August 2026 members from the five River Region chapters attend the Braille flag dedication ceremony at the Central Alabama VA hospital in Montgomery, AL. The event was organized by the Francis Marion Chapter for America 250.
Hundreds of Alabama Daughters were honored to attend a reception at the Governor's Mansion in Montgomery in August 2025. Governor Ivey greeted us as we all posed for a photo together.

Our chapter presented our speaker with educational bookmarks for her students. Each bookmark highlights iconic American symbols.
At our October 2024 meeting a local eighth grade history teacher captivated us with her storytelling demonstrating how she keeps her students engaged and interested in learning about the past.
2024 Bench Dedication Ceremony at the American Village. Six benches were donated to the American Village in honor of America's 250th birthday. Our chapter was one of 28 who participated in this project.
