I am an Applied Microeconomist with interest in Urban Economics, Economic Geography, with a PhD from University of Surrey (United Kingdom). Currently, I am a Lecturer in Real Estate at Kingston University.
I also hold a BSc in Economics from University of Coimbra (Portugal) and a MSc in Economics from Queen Mary University of London.Â
In the spring of 2023, I was a visiting researcher at the Urban Lab of the Uppsala University. I am also a Fellow at the Higher Education Academy.
Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate on the project "Bad neighbours: the link between gambling venues and gambling harms" with Dr. Anastasios Kitsos (Aston Business School) and Professor Emmanouil Tranos (University of Bristol) and a teaching assistant at Royal Holloway University of London.
My research focuses on the spatial socioeconomic ramifications of urban regeneration phenomena and its impact on local communities.
