Here's the list of ingredients.
Fresh Goat Milk 430 grams
Sodium Hydroxide 165 grams
Olive Oil 454 grams
Coconut Oil 397 grams
Palm Oil 227 grams
Shea Butter 57 grams
2 tablespoons Powdered Goat Milk
Once you have all of the ingredients the first thing you need to do, is freeze the milk. By freezing it, it will be less likely to burn. Once it's frozen take it out of the freezer.
Now, measure the lye. Add the lye slowly to the frozen milk. Make sure you are adding the lye slowly to the frozen goat milk. The goat milk will start melting once the lye is added. When all the lye is incorporated set aside to cool off. The lye solution should cool off to about 100 degrees.
Measure the coconut oil and the palm oil; place them into a microwavable container. Place the container into the microwave. Microwave for a few minutes until the oils have completely melted. Then measure the Shea butter and add it to the melted oils. Stir to incorporate. Shea butter melted slowly makes for a better end product.
Now, measure the olive oil and add it to the other oils and butter. You will want the temperature of the oils to also be around 100 degrees. Once the lye solution and the oils are the correct temperature add the lye slowly to the oils.
Take your stick blender and blend until you reach a slight trace. Once you have a trace add the powdered goat milk. Again take your stick blender and blend. You'll want to blend until you reach a full trace.
Then take your mixture and put it into a mold. Insulate with towels. Leave the mold alone for 10 to 12 hours. Then unmold the soap. Cut the soap into bars and put them onto a drying rack for approximately 6 to 8 weeks.
