My research focuses on the political and distributional consequences of economic shocks and social policies. I use micro-level data and applied econometrics to study redistribution, welfare state preferences, education policies, and gender inequality.
My work has been recognized with the Aldi Hagenaars Memorial Award (Luxembourg Income Study) and the SIEP Prize of the Italian Society of Public Economics.
