Full Professor, Department of Economics, Bocconi University - Milan.

My area of research is Industrial Organization and I mostly work on topics in competition economics, antitrust, market design, public procurement and the regulation of digital platforms. 

 I am CEPR Research Affiliate, an associate editor of The Review of Economic Studies and Journal of the European Economic Association, a board member of the Association for Competition Economics and a member of the Executive Committee of European Association for Research in Industrial Economics.

Over the last fifteen years, I have held various advisory roles for different public bodies including the European Commission, the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Italian Antitrust Authority and the Milan Court of Justice

I have occupied managing roles as Coordinator of the Accounting, Economics and Statistics Area of the National School of Administration of the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministries, and as Coorinator of two ERC Research Projects: RepCor (Reputation and Corruption in Procurement, 2016-2021) and CoDiM (Competition in Digital Markets, 2021-2025).
