Over the years I have carried out several projects aimed at preserving memory, reconstructing family histories, and promoting the value of genealogy and heraldry.
1. Digitization of Parish Archives (Platì, Calabria)
Between 2018 and 2024 I completed the digitization of the parish registers of Platì (RC), including baptism, marriage, and death records. Thanks to this work, it is now possible to reconstruct the genealogical trees of all families of Platì back to the 1700s. This project safeguards fragile historical documents and offers researchers and descendants of Platì families worldwide a valuable tool to rediscover their origins.
2. Collaborations in Heraldry and Genealogy
I have been a member of the IAGI – Istituto Araldico Genealogico Italiano, under the presidency of Pierfelice Degli Uberti, with whom I had the honor of holding a conference in Lamezia Terme.
I currently collaborate with the Studio Araldico Genealogico Italiano, an institution dedicated to family history research, heraldry, and the preservation of historical memory.
3. Studies and Research
Throughout my career I have reconstructed dozens of genealogical trees in Northern and Southern Italy, particularly in Piedmont, Lombardy, Liguria, and Calabria. A significant part of my work is carried out for the descendants of Italian emigrants living in the Americas, Australia, and other countries, assisting them both in retracing their family history and in the process of obtaining Italian citizenship.
Alongside research, I also conduct lectures and educational activities on the value of historical memory, genealogical research, and the cultural meaning of ancestry, highlighting the deep connections between history, anthropology, and personal identity.
My vision is that genealogy is not only about recording names and dates, but about reconnecting generations, giving meaning to the past, and enriching the present.
