Francesco Colombo

I am a postdoc at the Department of Political Science of Aarhus University, where I am working with Kim Mannemar Sønderskov on the effects of neighborhood and school inequalities on trust. I obtained my PhD from the European University Institute under the supervision of prof. Elias Dinas.

My work has been published in Comparative Political Studies.

I study political behavior and public opinion, employing experimental and observational data. My main research interests lie in:

• trust and social capital

• political nostalgia (authoritarian nostalgia)

• voting behavior (far-right and populist parties)

• economic inequalities

• social policy preferences
