Francesca Meli

I am an applied economist, working on topics at the intersections between health, education and labour. 
My research primarily investigates how sleep-related behaviours and biological traits, with social constraints, jointly shape key outcomes in education and the labour market.

I am currently adjunct professor in Health Economics at the University of Milan, (Honorary) Research Associate at the University of Bristol, and Research Consultant for UNESCO. I am also affiliated to the European Social Science Genetic Network (ESSGN). 

I completed my PhD at the University of Padova, with a thesis titled "Essays in the Economics of Sleep and Genoeconomics".
