Welcome to my website! I am a quantitative economist, with research interests in the spatial economics of innovation, productivity and misallocation.
I work for the European Commission, at the Digital Economy Unit of the Joint Research Centre in Seville, Spain.
Previously, I worked as Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Cagliari with the GRINS project. and at the Gran Sasso Science Institute at the GEOTWIN PRIN project. I hold an Excellent Cum Laude Joint-PhD Candidate in Applied Economics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB, Spain) and in Urban Studies and Regional Sciences at Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI, Italy).
My doctoral thesis, "Frictions and Proximities in Factors (Mis)Allocation across cities", is available online in open access, and was written under the supervision of Sandro Montresor and of Miquel-Angel Garcia-Lopez. The thesis was recently granted the 2° Dissertation Prize Giorgio Leonardi 2024.
