My research interests include phenomenology, hermeneutics, phenomenological psychopathology, psychology, philosophy of psychiatry, qualitative research and Heidegger Studies.
Although my current position at the University of Birmingham is primarily teaching-focused, I maintain an active, independent research programme that operates in close collaboration with my pedagogical work. My modules directly reflect and feed into my ongoing research on phenomenological approaches to mental health,, co-production and qualitative methods.
