I am currently caring for 2 different species of tadpole at once. One of them is a Green Frog tadpole rescued from drying Nupsee Pond, Caught in August. I originally had two, but the first refused food and starved to death during metamorphosis in December. To the right is a link to that post > "Gorf's Metamorphosis". I released it on the 18th, into a tributary of the Sudbury River, along with my chain pickerel. I wanted to make sure i did not kill another frog. ,

My second species is the Wood Frog tadpoles I collected on April 27th from the same vernal pool. They were growing up alongside the larval eastern newts in a small container on my desk. I have not counted, but I have around 5. On the 14th, I added the to the 29 gallon because they were large enough to survive alongside my killifish without becoming food.

Both species seem to be going into their transformation into frogs at the same time, So i decided to merge both topics into 1. Below i am attempting a time lapse of both tadpoles development.
