We were exhausted, driving on a dirt road surrounded by woodlands, ponds, and heaths. There was a small traffic jam, and when we peaked ahead to see what was causing it, we saw a brown, long legged beast, walking across the road. After the moose was in the woods, and the cars had gone, we parked at the side of the road, and got the best photos we could. We had to keep our distance though, as even does can be aggressive, using their 450 - 800 lbs of body weight as a weapon.
