Some friends wanted to know whether we could mount a camera in their backyard. I honestly did not think it would get anything, but I was wrong. For the first time, I got a Whitetail Deer. It was clearly foraging, nipping at the branches of a shrub. It was taking advantage of a few warm days after a month of freezing temperatures.

I am very satisfied with this. I have been trying to photo a deer for months now. When I got the coyotes in January, I was trying to get deer. I am confident I will get more deer as spring makes more progress.
