Log Flipping Season Begins

Its incredible how much you can find by just flipping over rotting logs. They are doors to underground ecosystems of invertebrates, salamanders, fungi, and the list goes on. Log Flipping Season begins in mid-spring, as organisms come up from below the frost layer.
