Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Framework Detector App (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by Bigyan Devkota (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS."
1. Information Collection and Use
The Application collects certain information automatically when you download and use it, and additional information only when you choose to enable optional features. This information is used to operate, maintain, and improve the performance and stability of the app. The data collected may include:
Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address.
Installed Application Query (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES): The Application accesses the list of installed packages on your device. This is a core requirement of the Application, used solely to scan and identify the underlying frameworks and technologies used by other apps on your device. This information is processed locally on your device and is NOT shared, sold, or stored on any server.
Usage Access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS): If you choose to grant this optional permission from within the Application, the Application reads how often and how recently a specific app was used, in order to display that information to you. This permission is never requested automatically, is not required for the Application's core functionality, and the underlying usage data is not transmitted off your device.
Exported Data: If you choose to export information about a scanned app, the resulting file is either shared through Android's standard share mechanism to a destination of your choosing, or saved directly to your device's local storage. The Service Provider does not receive a copy of any exported file.
The specific features of the Application you interact with.
The time and date of your visit and time spent in the Application.
The operating system and hardware model of your mobile device.
The Application does not gather precise real-time information about the location of your mobile device.
2. Third-Party Services and Analytics
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the third-party service providers used by the Application:
AdMob (Google), for the display and mediation of advertisements.
Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads (Unity LevelPlay), AppLovin, ironSource Ads and Liftoff/Vungle, which may be engaged through AdMob's mediation platform to serve advertisements within the Application. Each of these advertising partners operates under its own privacy policy and data-handling practices, independent of this Privacy Policy.
Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google), for the collection of anonymized usage statistics and crash diagnostic reports, used solely to identify and resolve technical issues and to understand feature usage at an aggregate level.
The advertising partners identified above, together with AdMob, may collect and process device information — including your Advertising ID, general usage data, and approximate location derived from IP address — for the purposes of serving, measuring, and, where permitted by your device settings and applicable regulation, personalizing advertisements.
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
3. Disclosure of Information
The Service Provider may disclose User-Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process.
When they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
With trusted service providers who work on their behalf, have no independent use of the information disclosed, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
4. Your Privacy Choices
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or a United States state with an applicable privacy law, the Application will present a privacy choices message on first use. Through this message, you may consent to, or decline, personalized advertising and related data processing, review the advertising partners who may process your data, and manage or withdraw your choices at any time.
5. Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace.
6. Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider will retain User-Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. To request the deletion of any data provided via the Application, please contact the Service Provider at bigyan.support+framework@gmail.com
7. Children's Privacy
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it will be immediately deleted from the servers. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided us with information, please contact the Service Provider immediately.
8. Security
The Service Provider is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the data processed and maintained.
9. Changes to this Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, including to reflect changes in the Application's features or advertising partners. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
