The developer and responsible academy entity for the app is Flanders Rugby Academy. Flanders Rugby Academy is also the entity named in the app’s Google Play store listing.
Privacy questions, access requests, correction requests, or deletion requests can be submitted through the contact form at https://flandersrugbyacademy.com/ or through the appropriate academy contact channel provided to athletes, parents, guardians, staff, and other authorised users.
The app supports Flanders Rugby Academy activities, including training schedules, attendance, athlete development, prevention, recovery, fitness programming, nutrition tracking, health and wellness follow-up, performance evaluation, communication, and academy administration.
The app is intended for authorised users such as athletes, parents or guardians, coaches, medical or physiotherapy staff, rugby staff, fitness staff, academic staff, administrators, and other persons authorised by Flanders Rugby Academy.
Depending on your role, permissions, device, and use of the app, Flanders Rugby Academy may process identity and contact data such as name, role, persona, email address, phone number, login provider, login identifier, profile picture, parent or family relationship, class, school, club, team, training group, and administrative notes.
The app may process sporting and training data such as attendance, absence reasons, comments, session schedules, training participation, rugby training data, fitness programmes, exercises, sets, repetitions, loads, durations, distances, rest times, ratings of perceived exertion, progression, test results, measurement records, evaluation scores, coach comments, selection history, club schedule data, and related sporting history.
The app may process health, wellness, recovery, physiological, nutrition, and body measurement data, including body weight, height, body fat, sleep data, sleep quality, recovery scores, heart rate, heart rate variability, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate, skin temperature, nutrition targets, nutrition intake, calories, hydration, injury prevention data, physiotherapy or medical evaluation information, pain or wellness comments, and other health-related data relevant to training, recovery, prevention, and athlete support.
When you grant access through Apple Health, Health Connect, or a similar device health service, the app may read or process the health and activity data types you grant. This may include weight, height, body fat, training heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate, skin temperature, sleep, nutrition, hydration, total calories burned, and related measurements. If you grant platform-supported background health access, the app may periodically sync granted health data while the app is not open so progress, recovery, and nutrition information stays up to date.
The app may process location and movement data for academy attendance and training workflows. This may include geolocation during or around trainings, geofenced attendance confirmation, training location checks, foreground or background location permission state, speed, acceleration, distance, timestamps, and derived attendance or training context.
The app may process device, technical, security, and audit data such as app version, operating system, device model, installation identifier, push notification token, notification permission status, location permission status, login events, acceptance events, timestamps, IP address where available, diagnostics, error logs, synchronisation status, and deleted record markers.
Flanders Rugby Academy uses app data to provide and secure the app, identify users, authenticate access, manage roles and permissions, show relevant pages, coordinate trainings and academy activities, register attendance, monitor participation, support coaching decisions, evaluate progression, support injury prevention, guide recovery, support nutrition planning, review squad-level information, manage staff workflows, send notifications, troubleshoot technical problems, maintain audit records, comply with legal or organisational obligations, and improve academy operations.
Health, recovery, nutrition, movement, and location data may be used by authorised staff to support athlete welfare, training load awareness, recovery discussions, prevention programmes, fitness planning, and performance follow-up. The app does not provide medical diagnosis, emergency response, clinical monitoring, treatment, or medical advice.
Flanders Rugby Academy does not sell personal or sensitive user data and does not use it for advertising.
Personal data may be visible to authorised Flanders Rugby Academy users according to their role, such as coaches, fitness staff, medical or physiotherapy staff, academic staff, administrators, athletes, parents, or guardians.
Personal data may be processed by service providers that help operate the app, such as cloud hosting, database, authentication, push notification, error reporting, app store, mobile operating system, map or location, and health platform providers. Health Connect, Apple Health, and similar device health platforms are controlled by your device and operating system. You decide which health data types the app may access. You may grant, deny, change, or revoke those permissions in your device settings or health platform settings.
Health data imported from Health Connect, Apple Health, or connected wearables is used for the academy purposes described in this policy. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not used to make automated decisions without appropriate human review.
Location data is used to support attendance confirmation, training presence, schedule context, and related academy workflows. Location checks may occur while the app is open, during relevant attendance workflows, or through platform-supported background mechanisms when enabled and permitted by you.
You can change or revoke location permissions in device settings. Some attendance or training features may be unavailable, incomplete, or less accurate if location access is disabled.
The app is local-first and may store data on your device so academy workflows remain usable when connectivity is limited. The app may sync data with Flanders Rugby Academy’s remote systems when connectivity is available. Some data may be cached, queued, or stored offline before synchronisation.
Flanders Rugby Academy uses access controls, role-based permissions, secure transport such as HTTPS, local device storage controls provided by the operating system, and operational safeguards to protect personal and sensitive data.
