FPS Auto Assistant – Privacy Policy

FPS Auto Assistant is a Chrome extension designed to assist FPS shop operators on the official eFPS portal of Gujarat. The extension improves workflow efficiency with optional features such as auto-refresh and simple on-page assistance.

1. Information We Collect

The extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal or sensitive user information.
It only reads the FPS UID shown on the eFPS website after login.
This UID is used solely to enable extension features and is not sent anywhere.

2. Local Storage

The extension saves only basic preferences such as:

• Auto-refresh ON/OFF

  This data stays only on your device.
  
  

3. No Data Sharing

• The extension does not sell data.
  
  

• The extension does not share data with third parties.
  
  

• No analytics or trackers are used.
  
  

4. Permissions

The extension uses:

• Host permission: Required only for efps.gujarat.gov.in
  
  

• Storage: For saving preferences
  
  

• Tabs: To detect if user is on the eFPS website
  No other websites are accessed.
  
  

5. Security

All operations occur locally in the user's browser.
No sensitive data is processed.
