Visiting Dr. Collemare's lab in Westerdijk Institute, Netherlands, for discussions on polyketide biosynthesis in lichens and endolichenic fungi.
We had the opportunity to visit the CBS culture collections and enjoyed a wonderful dinner with Dr. Collemare’s group at Vroeg in Utrecht.

Collaborating with researchers from University of Helsinki and Sunchon National University, we identified the key biosynthetic genes that determine the chemical diversity of lichen acids and their evolutionary mechanisms.
