In 2007 multi-day Bike Rides became one of FOGBEE's activity
(dates below are approximate)
Our first multi-day rides were to
Montgomery Bell State Park, St. Louis,
a fall ride to Monterey, and Little Miami Trail
Our first overnight tour was prepared by Gary Williams
in Madison County, Illinois along the Mississippi River near St. Louis.
Initially in 2008 and repeated in 2010.
Twice, we did a summer multi-day loop
from H'ville down to Henry Horton and
Bruce and Tom pedaled from Memphis to Savannah TN
On our ride to Indiana we visited French Lick.
We delivered Dave Irvine to Highland Games.
And Dave Buckman, Bruce, and Andrew rode blind bikers.
On 2012 and again on 2015 we toured to Cullman AL
and spent a night on Bruce's Smith Lake cabin
2012 was Aussie Bob's (MA12) Middle America Tour.
He followed in 2015 with (N2N15) Nashville to New Jersey,
in 2017 with his (CL17) Cumberland Loop,
in 2022 with his (H2O) Hendersonville to the Ocean (Savannah), and
in 2023 with his (H2C) Hendersonville to Cumberland
Our Annual rides included Silver Comet, Ride Across TN,
USBR-23, Grand Tetons/Yellowstone
Memphis to H'ville, Ride to DTI (WV), Monticello KY,
and Loop around Lake Champlain
In 2014, members went to RAGBRAI.
