Kids Church Bulletin Board

This Week...

We are learning the story of MOSES for the months of October and November!

Get ready for Kids Church on October 18th by watching this video together:

Questions to wonder about...

1) Why did Baby Moses' mother put him in the basket and into the river?

2) Who do you think that was who found him?

3) How did the women work together to make sure Baby Moses was kept safe from the Pharaoh?

4) When Pharaoh told his army to find all the baby boys and take them away, he was making a new law or rule for the land. Have you ever heard of a rule that hurt other people or wasn't fair? How does it make you feel when the rules are unfair?

5) What can we do when there is a rule or law that hurts other people?

CYF @ First Presbyterian Church of Brooklyn

The guiding values of the Children, Youth, and Families (CYF) ministry at First Church Brooklyn are Community, Family, and Education/Formation. Through engaging and interdisciplinary programs for all ages, we strive to:

  • Foster community and build relationships across cultural and generational lines

  • Empower parents to create space for spiritual growth at church and at home

  • Provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn spiritual practices, wrestle
with big questions, and understand their identities as children of God
