ITMO University are jointly organizing the 1th International Scientific and Technical Conference "Fundamental and practical aspects of computer technology" (FPACT2018). The aim of the workshop is to build the community of researchers who work on modern problems in computer science and to provide an academic forum that fosters them to share their ideas and results.

Call for Papers

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

• Full papers describe the results of completed scientific research (8 to 12 pages in the LNCS one-column page format)
• Short papers report preliminary results of uncompleted scientific research (6 to 8 pages in the LNCS one-column page format)

Papers may be prepared in LaTeX or MS Word according to the LNCS one-column page format.

Conference’s official language is English.

List of Topics

We invite submission of papers that present original previously unpublished research in all areas of parallel, distributed, and cloud computing. These papers will be presented during the workshop as oral presentations. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

The conference will be held in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Publication

All accepted full papers and short papers will be published in CEUR Workshop Proceedings (indexed in Scopus), final approval pending.

Conference participation and paper publication are free of charge.

In order to submit your paper, you will first need to register into the Easy Chair system, if you are not registered already. You may submit an abstract first and upload the actual paper at a later time (this is in fact strongly recommended). Furthermore, you may revise your submission any number of times before the deadline.

Papers should be formatted in Springer LNCS format. Submissions not conforming to the LNCS format or being obviously out of the scope of the conference will be rejected without review.
