ABOUT ME
Chabi-Yo is the Berthiaume Endowed Professor in Business Administration at Isenberg School of Management, where he teaches a PhD course, courses in Investment and Corporate Risk Management. He conducts research in the area of theoretical, Empirical asset pricing, and international finance, with a focus on the role of investor preferences and beliefs in financial markets, as well as the pricing of derivative instruments. Chabi-Yo is also engaged in studying tail risk, tail dependence, expected Treasury bond returns, options on Treasury bond futures, and commodities. His research has been presented at both academic and practitioner conferences and published in top academic finance journals, such as the Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, and top Economic Journals such as the Journal of Economic Theory.
Professor Chabi-Yo previously served on the faculty of the Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University. He has held a position at the Bank of Canada. He is fluent in English, French and other African Languages.
