I grew up in Santee and remained in East County San Diego through adulthood. I am a San Diego State and National University alumnus. My highest level of education is a M.S. in educational adminstation. I possess a teaching credential as well as a preliminary administrative credential. I have a strong passion for education and am happy to continuously be given the opportunity to be able to pass that love for knowledge on. Initially, I decided to become a teacher after being inspired by the positive impact I had made on students' lives via substitute teaching. Concerning my teaching experience, I have been a teacher since 2010 and have taught at every grade level. For the last 9 years Rio Seco has been my second home. My wife, Jolene Fetty, is also a teacher in the Santee School District, at Hill Creek Elementary. We have two children, a 12 year-old son (Colton) and an 8 year-old son (Weston). My favorite things to do are to go boating on San Vicente reservoir or the by with my family, to go fishing out in the ocean with my sons, to take care of my reef aquarium, and to go camping and off-roading with friends and family. My wife and I also lead a sports filled life taking Colton and Weston to their baseball practices and games. Â
