David V. Loertscher has degrees from the University of Utah, the University of Washington and a Ph.D. from Indiana University. He has been a school library media specialist in Nevada and Idaho at both the elementary and secondary school levels. He has taught at Purdue University, The University of Arkansas, The University of Oklahoma, and is presently a professor at the School of Information at San José State University. He served as head of the editorial department at Libraries Unlimited for ten years and is President of Hi Willow Research & Publishing (distributed by LMC Source at www.lmcsource.com). He has been a president of the American Association of School Librarians.

Natali Carmona is a former public and academic library assistant. Currently, Carmona is Dr. Loertscher's graduate assistant on the Leap Conference and Learning Hub Journal. Carmona is passionate about teaching minority students about educational resources.
Christina Chavez Nelson is a 34-year veteran and third-generation educator in Stockton, California. She began a new job this year as the first ever TK-8th Arts Resource:Theater teacher in Stockton Unified.
She is currently reading multiple picture books to convey storytelling as a medium for drama.
Vardui (Rose) Gyadikyan is a 15-year teacher veteran in K-12 education and adult education. Gyadikyan is a new Teacher Librarian at a 4th-12th-grade Span Magnet School in Tarzana, California, for the Los Angeles Unified School District. Gyadikyan loves audiobooks and is currently reading "The Let Them Theory," by Mel Robbins.
Jeff Mattison is a 20-year veteran public school teacher. Mattison is currently a new Teacher Librarian of a small high school in Los Angeles, California. Mattison is an early adopter of techno minimalism, currently on a smartphone detox. He is currently reading Thieves' Gambit by Kayvion Lewis.
