Privacy Policy

Updated: September 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile game Hidden Symbols (hereinafter "the Game") for Android devices, developed by Usługi IT Michał Różycki (hereinafter "the Developer").
1. Data Collection and Processing
Core Gameplay: The Game is primarily an offline application. Gameplay data, such as game saves and progress, is stored locally on the user's device and is not transmitted to servers operated by the Developer.
In-App Purchases: The Game is free to play and supported by advertisements. Players have the option to make a one-time in-app purchase to remove advertisements. All financial transactions are processed exclusively by the Google Play Store billing system (Google Play Billing). The Developer does not receive, process, or store payment card details or financial information. All purchase transactions are handled by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
Purchase & App Analytics: The Game uses Google Firebase Analytics to record analytics events, such as when an in-app purchase is completed or when app stability events occur. The Developer does not set or transmit a User ID, email address, name, phone number, payment card information, or other directly identifying information through Firebase Analytics. Firebase Analytics may automatically collect certain technical, device, application, and usage information associated with events (e.g., app instance identifier, device model, operating system version, and performance interactions). This information is used solely to understand purchase activity and evaluate the performance and stability of the Game.
Advertising (Google AdMob): The Game displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob in the free version. To serve ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and provide personalized or non-personalized advertising content, Google AdMob may automatically collect and process certain device information and unique identifiers. This may include:
Google Advertising ID (GAID) / Android Advertising ID.
IP address (used primarily to infer general coarse location).
Device hardware model, operating system version, mobile network information, and app usage data related to ad interactions.
Depending on your region and your consent choices (e.g., selected via the in-app consent banner presented to users in the EEA/UK), ads served may be personalized (tailored to your interests based on previous activity) or non-personalized (targeted using contextual information such as general location or current app content).
2. Third-Party Services
The Game utilizes third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) and services to serve advertisements, monitor application performance, analyze user engagement, track in-app purchases, and ensure stability. These service providers may automatically collect certain technical data and identifiers from your device.
The third-party service providers used in the Game include:
Google Play Services: Used for app distribution, system integration, and billing processing. Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Google AdMob: Used to serve and manage in-app advertisements. Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy How Google uses information from sites or apps that use their services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Unity Technologies (Unity Engine): Used to render and execute the Game runtime environment, collecting basic device metadata required for performance optimization. Privacy Policy: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
Google Firebase Analytics: Used to record purchase-related analytics and app performance events. Privacy Policy & Terms: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
The Developer does not directly control the technical data independently collected and processed by these third-party providers. Such information is handled by the respective providers in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable legal requirements.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, we process your personal technical data based on the following legal grounds under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR): Applied to the processing of personal identifiers (such as the Advertising ID) and device information for personalized or non-personalized advertising served via Google AdMob, as requested through the consent management form presented in the Game.
Performance of a Contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR): Required to deliver in-app purchases and process transactions via Google Play Billing.
Legitimate Interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): Necessary for our legitimate interests to maintain, analyze, and optimize application stability, performance, and commercial viability via analytics and non-personalized operational processes.
4. Children's Privacy
The Game is intended for a general audience and is suitable for players of all ages. The Game is not intentionally directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions), and the Developer does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. Data collected via automated third-party services (such as Firebase Analytics or AdMob) is used strictly for technical analytics, stability, operational purposes, and compliant advertising.
If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that appropriate steps can be taken.
5. Data Retention
Analytics & Ad Data: Data collected via Google Firebase Analytics and Google AdMob is retained in accordance with Google's default retention policies and applicable legal requirements, after which it is automatically deleted or anonymized.
Local Data: Gameplay progress data stored locally on your device remains stored until you delete the Game or clear the application data.
6. User Rights and Managing Ad Preferences
If you are located in the EEA or the UK, you have the following rights regarding your personal data under the GDPR:
The right to access, rectify, or request the erasure of your personal data.
The right to restrict or object to the processing of your data.
The right to data portability.
The right to withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent, such as ad personalization).
The right to lodge a complaint with a local supervisory authority (e.g., the President of the Personal Data Protection Office / UODO in Poland).
How to exercise your rights and manage preferences:
Ad Consent & Privacy Settings: You can review or change your ad privacy preferences (and withdraw previously given consent) at any time through the privacy settings menu inside the Game, or by clearing app data/reinstalling the app to re-trigger the consent banner.
Device-Level Ad Identifier Controls: You can opt out of personalized ads or reset your Android Advertising ID at any time through your device settings (Settings -> Google -> Ads -> Reset advertising ID / Delete advertising ID).
Local Data: Game progress and other gameplay data stored locally on your device can be permanently removed by clearing the application's storage or uninstalling the Game.
Third-Party Data: The Developer does not maintain user accounts or personal databases from which individual users' analytics or ad data can be manually identified. Requests concerning data processed directly by Google services should be directed to Google in accordance with Google's privacy policies and procedures.
