WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE BIBLE 101 STUDY?
The Bible 101 course is a series of lessons designed to help ANYONE gain a basic understanding of the Bible and identify basic practices for reading studying the Bible. The course has been divided into three different phases: Introduction, Bible History and Organization, and Bible Study Practices. At the end of the course, you will find additional resources to help you study the Bible. Each lesson contains an overall objective, assignments, and resources to accomplish each assignment task (including videos, graphics, sermons, articles, etc). While the course can be completed by an individual, one of the goals of the course is to provide an environment where individuals can study and discuss God's word together. Feel free to use all lessons and resources!
SECTION 1. BIBLE 101 INTRODUCTION
These two lessons provide learners with an introduction to the course and invite readers to consider the importance of reading the Bible.

In this section, learners are provided with a basic foundation on which to study the Bible.

In this section, learners are introduced to practical tips for reading the bible, various methods of reading the Bible, and discernment practices.
