About The Fund

The Fort Hill Scholarship Fund of was founded in the fall of 2008 by a dedicated and concerned group of Fort Hill alumni to help ensure that Fort Hill seniors have the opportunity to pursue higher education. Thanks to the generosity of the extended Fort Hill community and our many scholarship sponsors, FHSF has awarded almost $450,000 in scholarships to Fort Hill graduates. Most of our scholarships range from $1,000 to $3,000 and can sometimes mean the difference between a student being able to afford a higher education, or simply staying home. 

Class of 2023 recipients will be headed to a variety of institutions that include The University of Maryland, Towson University, West Virginia University, Frostburg State University and Allegany College of Maryland. This year's awards will total over $82,000.
