Hello, My name is Rachel. I am fifteen years old. I started playing violin when I was three and a half and still love it. I currently play with the Alachua County Youth Orchestra (ACYO) for the fourth consecutive year, and am in Suzuki book six. To see video(s) of me performing go here!
Some accomplishments include being a featured soloist for the Naples Youth Symphonia, receiving an Honorable Mention in a Bach Festival, and participating in a couple of recitals by open audition.
My favorite thing about playing the violin is getting to show others what I know. I've played for long term care facilities, my friends, holiday gatherings, and now my practice buddies!
Nearly every summer I spend a few days at Suzuki Family Camp at Blue Lake, which I absolutely love. There we play violin games and get to learn from our peers. This is what I hope I can do for your child.
