Forsyth Movie Nights is organized by Emily Creaven, charity athlete and business owner. With past fundraising efforts for Team Trackgirlz as this team of 4 other charity athletes raised $20,000 for nonprofit organization, 'TrackGirlz' and ran in the past 2024 TCS New York City Marathon. But Emily didn't want to stop there. With partnerships and support from local Savannah Businesses, Emily is continuing to fundraise money for a variety of nonprofits and charities with each Movie Night hosted.
With each event a different charity/nonprofit will be supported and local businesses will be displayed and represented as well.
The mission of Forsyth Movie Nights is simply to bring the community together and support those in need.
As a charity athlete, Emily is pursuing races and organizations that support athletics especially women and children in sports in order to empower through leadership, movement, and physical activity.
Emily will be running apart of NYRR (New York Road Runners) Team for Kids in the upcoming 2025 TCS New York City Marathon. Her fundraising goal is currently $3,000. Each movie night will display donation links for those willing to donate.
