Apakah pertandingan Formula Student Malaysia?

Sejarah acara ini yang bermula pada tahun 2009. Pertandingan inovasi setiap tahun bagi memenuhi peraturan "Formula Student" diperingkat antarabangsa. Kejohanan ini membolehkan pelajar membina kereta gaya formula duduk tunggal yang boleh bersaing dengan pasukan tempatan dan dari seluruh dunia. Pertandingan reka bentuk antarabangsa bukanlah semata-mata dimenangi oleh kereta terpantas, tetapi dengan pakej keseluruhan terbaik bagi kategori pembinaan, prestasi, dan perancangan kewangan dan jualan. FSM direka untuk menyediakan pelajar menghadapi dunia kerja dalam pekerjaan sepenuh masa formal dan mampu mempersiapkan pelajar untuk menjadi mahir dalam industri. Kejohanan ini adalah anjuran bersama SAE international Malaysia dan FS Malaysia Technology, juga acara sokongan kejohanan NxGV.

 What is the Formula Student Malaysia competition?

The history of this event began in 2009. An innovation competition every year to meet the "Formula Student" regulations at the international level. Students build a single seated formula style car with which they can compete against teams from all over the world. The international design competition is not won solely by the team with the fastest car, but rather by the team with the best overall package of construction, performance, and financial and sales planning. FSM designed to prepare for the world of work in formal full-time employment and preparing the student capable into the industries. This tournament is jointly organized by SAE International Malaysia and FS Malaysia Technology, also an NxGV support event.

1)  Engineering Design: 2D and 3D conceptual Design (50pts), Frame Drawing (50pts), Simulation (50 pts): TOTAL: 150 points

2)  Cost and Manufacturing: Fabrication Process (50pts), Bill of Material (50 pts): TOTAL: 100 points

3)  Business Presentation: Business effectiveness, Promotion Media (40pts), Presentation (35pts): TOTAL: 75 points

FSM DYNAMIC EVENT

1)  Acceleration: TOTAL: 50 points

2)  Skid Pad: TOTAL: 50 points

3)  Autocross: TOTAL: 100 points

4)  Endurance: TOTAL: 250 points
