Formigo — Privacy Policy

1) What We Process (On-device by design)
Formigo performs file conversions, scans, edits, OCR and exports locally on your device.
Your documents and media are not uploaded to our servers.
We do not keep server copies of your files.
2) Permissions
Camera — scan documents, photos, IDs.
Storage/Media — read, convert and save files locally.
Internet — show ads (free tier), restore purchases, verify subscriptions.
Permissions are requested only when needed and can be denied any time.
3) Monetization
Free (ad-supported) — limited daily conversions; ads via Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob).
One-time Premium — ad-free; up to 30 daily conversions.
Monthly/Annual Premium — ad-free; unlimited conversions.
Payments/subscriptions are handled by Google Play Billing.
We do not process or store card data.
4) Data We (or our partners) may collect
Formigo does not collect your document contents.
However, integrated services may collect the following to provide ads, analytics, and usage statistics:
Google services (AdMob, Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics/Performance):
· Advertising ID (AAID/IDFA), IP address, and limited device/app info.
· App interactions & diagnostics (event counts, performance, crash logs).Facebook App Events SDK (Meta):
· Anonymous app events (e.g., app opens, first install).
· Used only for aggregated usage statistics and performance measurement.
Purposes: app functionality, analytics, advertising, fraud/abuse prevention.
Sharing: Data may be shared with Google and Meta solely to provide these services.
We do not sell personal data.

5) Consent & Choices
EEA/UK/CH: We use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain your consent and let you choose personalized or non-personalized ads.
US States: Depending on your state, you may opt out of “sale/sharing” or “targeted advertising”.
If you opt out or decline consent, we show non-personalized ads (or restricted processing, as applicable).
Meta (Facebook App Events):
Event logging is limited to anonymous install and app-open events for aggregated analytics. No personal data is linked.

6) Data Retention & Security
We do not store your documents on our servers.
Advertising and analytics data are retained by Google and Meta according to their own policies.
Data is transmitted over encrypted channels.
7) Subscriptions, Cancellation & Refunds
Subscriptions are managed via Google Play (Account → Subscriptions).
Auto-renew can be turned off any time.
Refunds follow Google Play’s refund policy.
8) Children’s Privacy
Formigo is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information.
If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us to remove it.
9) Your Rights (GDPR / US State Laws / KVKK)
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, delete, or object to certain processing.
For Google-processed data (ads/analytics), please use the Google privacy controls linked above.
For Meta App Events data, please see Meta’s privacy controls.
You may also withdraw or modify consent in-app via Settings → Privacy Options.
