Form Validation Tester ("the Extension") is a Chrome extension designed to help developers and QA engineers inspect, test, and debug form validation on web pages. This Privacy Policy explains how user data is handled.

Identifying accessibility issues (missing labels, duplicate names)
Important:
This data is processed locally in the browser
It is never stored, logged, or transmitted externally
All processing happens entirely on the client side.
The Extension:
Does not send data to any server
Does not use analytics or tracking tools
Does not share data with third parties
The Extension uses Chrome’s storage API only to save user preferences, such as:
Theme selection (dark/light mode)
UI settings
No personal or sensitive data is stored.
activeTab: Used to analyze the current webpage only after user interaction
storage: Used for saving local UI preferences
Host permissions: Required to access form elements on webpages for validation analysis
The Extension does not use remote code:
No external scripts are loaded
No dynamic code execution (e.g., eval)
All functionality is packaged within the extension
Since no data is collected or transmitted, there is no risk of data exposure from this Extension. All operations occur locally within the user's browser environment.
The Extension does not use any third-party services, APIs, or external integrations.
