Valentine's Day
Make sure to also visit the other pages for additional party resources:
Craft
Zhoozh it up by purchasing blank 5x7 cards. Have the students glue each of their cupcakes to the front of the card. Add a title if you're feeling it: "You're the Sweetest!" or "You're the Icing on my Cake!"
Game
Cupid Says:
This is the Valentine's Day version of the game "Simon Says," but with a twist: Before you start, brainstorm actions that'll get their blood pumping, like jumping or running in place. Then, you'll be able to slip in a lesson about how to stay heart-healthy, too.
Craft
The pre-made craft kit can either be used to make a card or a festive piece of art.
Have your students make a card for someone special in their life OR cut each card front out and frame it prior to the event.

Blow a Kiss Art Project
This activity requires asking the teacher if you can take pics of the kids prior to the party. This has never been a problem as long as you don't wait until the last minute. Do also email the parents first and make sure this is ok with them.
Buy cheap 3x5 canvases here.
Let them each design a simple background with oil pastels, markers, crayons...
Buy a pack of multi-colored, various-patterned scrapbook paper (dollar tree or Michaels). Give them each their own bag of supplies so they can cut out their own hearts.
Give them each their own picture (previously formatted small enough to leave room on the canvas for their paper hearts).
Game
Party Favor
24 Pieces of Heart Head Boppers and Sunglasses
(I would give these at the beginning of the party - great pictures!)

You don't need the e-course but you will need most of the supplies listed on the site. Do this activity first!
Let's make this easy:
Heavy Water Color Paper - 8.5 x 11
Tons of scraps of paper - old magazines, scrapbook scraps, pages of text from old books (Goodwill). Include a heart made of cardstock to be used as a stencil.
Give each student a gallon zip lock bag of all of these loose supplies.
Cover the entire page in random colorful scraps of paper. Use a gluestick.
Using the stencil, have them trace the heart shape using a black sharpie.
Last step: using a thin coat of white tempura paint, white wash AROUND the heart.
Have them sign their art work once the paint is dry (tempura dries fast).
Game
Valentine Minute-To-Win-It Games
Choose up to five games to prepare.
Set up stations and divide the class into four teams.
Set the timer!
