I’m Forest! I’m a sociologist and an illustrator from a tiny town in appalachia, now living it up out west in the big, damp city (Seattle, WA). I like writing fiction, getting lost in the woods, and telling slightly unwilling bystanders too much information about cool fish
my art is a creative outlet and a way to explore my identities a queer, trans, neurodivergent person. it’s also a way to draw weird bugs, cool landscapes, and lesbian cowboys. my interests are in digital illustration, including character design, along with hand embroidery. some of my inspirations include indie horror flicks, audio dramas, 18th century fashion, maximalist interior design, retro graphic design, and mountain landscapes
When I’m not sitting in front of my laptop making art, I like hiking in the mountains, starting short stories I never finish, embroidering, and failing to identify wildflowers
