A letter of Recommendation is another important document for applying to foreign universities. It is basically provided by a teacher who recommends him/her to study in the abroad university. The minimum number of recommendations need for usually, for bachelor's degree, is One, and Masters's degree is Three.
For Bachelor pursuing students, teachers from their HSC/ O level institution should write the recommendation letter.
For transfer students, Teachers from their current institution should write a recommendation letter.
For master's students, teachers with their bachelor's degrees should write a recommendation letter.
In the recommendation letter, A teacher should explain
How she/he know that candidate
Why does she/he recommend him/her
There are two kinds of recommendation forms.
A. Recommendation Letter: This is usually written by the teacher and students scanned that page and send that to the university. This kind of letter should be written on the university's notepad with a teacher sign at the bottom.
B. Recommendation Form: It's an electronic recommendation form. Students need to provide the teacher's email address. Then, the university sent an email and ask the teacher to write and reply to the recommendation on that particular email. In this kind of form, use verified email addresses of teachers such as - abc@nsu.edu, xyz@du.edu. Otherwise, if you use an ordinary email address for instance Gmail, yahoo, the university may take it as suspicious and take extra action.
