GENERAL CAMPING WILL BE CLOSED FROM THE 7TH TILL THE 13TH OF SEPTEMBER FOR THE 150TH FORBES SHOW
The Forbes Showground is centrally located in the township of Forbes. It is a short 8-minute stroll to the main street and many cafes, shops clubs and pubs.
Entrance for camping is through the Show Street entry, equine camping is through the Racecourse Road entry. The campground offers both powered and unpowered campsites. Camping facilities include toilets, showers, pump point and a coin operated laundry.
With plenty of space available there is no marked sites and bookings are not required. Simply turn up, set up in your preferred site and the on-site caretakers come and see you in the afternoon if they are unavailable at the time of your arrival.

Please note the Forbes Showground in separate to the MEC facility, if you are planning to hold an event and need camping and stabling, please contact the Secretary for further information and to make a booking.
Please note camping will be closed from the 8th of September till the 14th of September 2025 for the annual Forbes Show.
